Record and post a 2- to 3-minute video in which you:
Introduce yourself.
Think back to your first day pursuing a social work degree. How did you feel? What were your hopes and dreams? To what extent have those dreams remained?
Describe your sense of professional purpose related to social work. What purpose or cause drives you?
Identify the focus area (e.g., addictions, trauma, etc.) in which you envision yourself practicing, including the client population or age group.
Include a transcript and/or edit closed captioning on your video to ensure that your presentation is accessible to colleagues of differing abilities.
